SEO and PPC Specialist – Entry Level, Remote

Job Overview

The SEO and PPC Specialist identifies trends in search data, draws informed conclusions, and creates marketing strategies that move clients closer to their goals. You’ll be a data-driven specialist who enjoys learning about search engines and how they work. You’ll collaborate with team members to bring campaigns to life and support a multi-channel digital strategy for clients. The primary areas of responsibility for this role are search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.

You’ll work with industry-standard tools to advise clients on best practices and when to adjust campaigns. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying current with the latest updates and changes in search marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop keyword strategies based on clients’ industries and what they offer

• Review clients’ websites for SEO improvements and growth opportunities

• Create or work with content creators to produce high-quality content that aligns with keyword strategy

• Work with the development team to improve website usability and user experience

• Use keyword research and competitor analysis to justify budget decisions and maximize return on investment

• Set up, monitor, and adjust pay-per-click campaigns

• Analyze landing page performance and suggest improvements to boost conversion rates

• Develop strategies for remarketing campaigns to re-engage previous website visitors

• Communicate regularly with clients about campaign progress

• Run competitor analysis reports

• Develop targeted SEO strategies for specific geographic locations, including location-based content and local listings

• Apply technical improvements to increase organic search rankings

• Deliver reporting dashboards and presentations monthly, quarterly, and annually

• Highlight key performance metrics relevant to each client’s goals

• Work with other marketers to support integrated digital marketing efforts across social media, email, and content

• Stay current with industry trends and share findings with the team

• Own long-term projects focused on growth, process improvement, and innovation

Skills/Background Needed

• Relevant degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SEO and PPC campaigns

• Understanding of content writing and planning for SEO strategies

• Experience with Google Ads

• Experience with Google Analytics 4

• Bonus skills: WordPress management, Bing advertising, content writing experience, technical SEO, or data reporting tools

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract Length: Full-time, permanent role with ongoing training and development support.
