We’re looking for an enthusiastic journalist ready to grow your reporting and storytelling skills. This is a full-time role where you’ll develop as a digital journalist across multiple platforms, learning to shoot video, write compelling stories, engage on social media, and work as part of a collaborative newsroom team.
In this role, you’ll work on-site at our newsroom location, where you’ll have access to professional tools and equipment, including cameras, video editing software, and live broadcast capabilities. You’ll learn from experienced colleagues in a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to quality journalism.
We welcome candidates with or without prior experience. Whether you hold a degree in journalism or a related field, or you’re coming in fresh and ready to learn, we’ll provide the guidance and training you need to succeed.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and pitch story ideas
- Gather information through interviews and research
- Write clear, engaging news copy
- Shoot and edit video content
- Manage social media for news stories
- Collaborate with photographers and editors
- Meet deadlines in a dynamic newsroom
We’re looking for someone who is: self-motivated, curious, detail-oriented, able to work quickly under pressure, a strong communicator both written and verbal, collaborative, and genuinely interested in telling important stories.
Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
