We’re looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Condition Report Writer. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone ready to start a career in the automotive field. No prior experience necessary—we provide full training on all systems and processes.
About the Role:
You’ll perform vehicle inspections and create detailed condition reports that support the buying and selling of vehicles. This hands-on role involves assessing vehicle condition, documenting findings, and taking photographs to support your reports. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors, moving vehicles around the lot as needed.
What You’ll Do:
• Verify vehicle identification and update vehicle information (year, make, model, trim)
• Inspect vehicle equipment, options, interior, tires, and mechanical components
• Document and estimate vehicle damage
• Take photographs to support reports
• Move and park vehicles in designated areas
• Review and document odometer readings
• Assess frame condition and document any damage
• Assess mechanical condition and document issues found
• Complete additional duties as assigned
Skills/background needed:
• Comfortable using a computer, laptop, or tablet
• Ability to write clear, professional reports
• Basic knowledge of vehicles (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to learn job-specific software quickly
• Comfortable taking and uploading digital photographs
• Detail-oriented and organised
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
• Able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb regularly
• Willing to work underneath vehicles for visual frame inspection
• Able to work with minimal supervision and manage priorities independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Post-secondary training in damage assessment is a plus but not required.

Full-time, permanent position
