About The Role
We’re looking for a talented writer to join our editorial team and help drive coverage across news, features, and long-form content. You’ll have real autonomy in this role—generating story ideas, pitching features, and developing exclusive content based on the relationships you build and maintain.

What You’ll Do
• Write news pieces, features, analysis, and multimedia content on a regular basis
• Generate and pitch original story ideas based on market research and industry trends
• Develop and maintain professional contacts and sources to uncover exclusive stories
• Conduct interviews, transcribe discussions, and write roundtable coverage
• Curate content and assist with newsletter production
• Research market trends and translate complex data into accessible writing
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams to deliver quality editorial products
• Meet regular deadlines while managing multiple assignments
Skills/background needed
You don’t need years of experience in financial journalism—we’ll provide full training. We’re looking for people with:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in writing, journalism, or a related field (or strong portfolio demonstrating writing ability)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to research topics thoroughly and turn findings into clear, engaging content
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Curiosity about market trends and industry developments
• Self-motivation and willingness to take on responsibility
• Comfort receiving feedback and learning on the job
• Resilience when juggling competing priorities
