In this Application Usability Analyst position, you’ll play a vital role in improving how users interact with digital products by examining app designs and capabilities. Working remotely at an entry-level, you’ll gain valuable experience studying how people use applications and what they need, then sharing findings that help engineering teams build more user-friendly solutions. Your passion for understanding users and your keen eye for detail will drive meaningful outcomes for our organization.

The work centers on installing and testing different apps directly on your own device, thoroughly reviewing their features, design, and overall quality. Your detailed observations and thoughtful commentary will be instrumental in spotting opportunities for enhancement and maintaining excellent user satisfaction standards.

Compensation:

  • Rate: $35 hourly (Rates may fluctuate based on application difficulty and depth of evaluation needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Install and try out mobile apps on your personal device—whether it’s an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.
  • Assess the app’s capabilities, user interface quality, and report any technical issues or problems you discover.
  • Compose thorough yet clear assessments detailing your findings and testing observations.

    • Requirements:

    • You must possess a mobile device capable of downloading and running apps from either iOS or Android platforms.
    • You’re someone who takes initiative, manages tasks autonomously, and adheres closely to evaluation standards.
    • Willingness to dedicate at least 5 hours each week to app testing activities.
    • Strong, dependable broadband or mobile data connection available at all times.
