We’re looking for an Editor to help develop and shape compelling romance stories for our growing list of authors. If you’re passionate about romance fiction and love working with writers to bring their best work to life, this is a great opportunity to grow your editorial skills in a supportive, author-focused environment.
This role offers hands-on experience in manuscript acquisition, editing, and author management. You’ll work closely with writers across both adult and young adult fiction, developing stories that readers love. No prior publishing experience is required—we provide full training and support as you learn.
What You’ll Do:
• Read and evaluate manuscripts for publication potential
• Provide developmental editing feedback to help authors strengthen their stories
• Assist with acquiring new titles and recruiting authors
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams on how to position books in the marketplace
• Help develop strategic plans for building the author list
• Support contract negotiations and author communications
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in an organized, detail-oriented way
