About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Content Writer and Editor to join our marketing team. In this role, you will develop authoritative written content, conduct interviews with subject matter experts, and provide editorial direction to junior writers. This is a full-time, fully remote position.
You will work within the Content and Creative Production function and partner closely with the marketing leadership, account management, sales teams, and internal experts across the business. If you have experience writing editorial content for trade publications, ghostwriting executive pieces, or developing B2B content with a distinctive voice, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
• Ghostwrite articles for distribution across owned channels, social media, and external publications
• Develop sponsored editorial and co-authored pieces for targeted trade publishers
• Source and shape client and partner stories—both anonymized and attributed—that feel authentic rather than templated
• Conduct interviews with internal experts, clients, and partners to extract story angles and unique perspectives
• Support live programming, including webinars, podcast appearances, and recurring conversations with senior team members
• Maintain an editorial calendar across key topics: customer support, trust and safety, content moderation, automation, business systems, and security
• Monitor the competitive landscape and identify gaps your voice can fill
• Provide editorial feedback to junior writers; review drafts for structure, clarity, and consistent point of view
• Partner with marketing leadership to align editorial output with co-marketing goals
• Work with account management and sales to identify and develop client stories
• Build and maintain processes for sourcing, developing, and approving client stories
Skills and Experience Needed
• 6–8 years of professional writing experience, with significant time in journalism, editorial work, or trade publishing
• Demonstrated experience ghostwriting for executives, with portfolio samples you can discuss
• Background writing about or covering customer experience, enterprise software, trust and safety, business process outsourcing, or digital operations
• Familiarity with how trade publications work, including sponsored content, co-authorship, and pitching editorial angles
• Comfort working with plain text, Markdown, and version control systems
• Strong ability to extract compelling stories from conversations with busy experts
• Skill in building coherent, logical arguments from rough briefs or scattered ideas
• Solid grasp of sentence structure and writing craft
• Editorial judgment—you know when to question a brief and when a story isn’t ready yet
• Self-directed work style; able to set your own pace with minimal oversight
• High standards for writing quality and a critical eye for authentic voice
