About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to help create clear, professional documents across a wide range of projects. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to develop your writing, editing, and proofreading skills while working on real client materials.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
• Interview subject matter experts to gather information about products, technologies, and processes
• Research industry materials and documentation to understand technical concepts
• Observe and document production, development, and experimental activities
• Assist in organizing and laying out material for publication
• Review and revise existing documents, identifying areas where updates or new content is needed
• Use provided outlines and source materials to create well-structured, flowing reports
• Format, organize, and polish raw documents to professional standards
• Work on diverse document types including reports, technical papers, newsletters, presentations, and business documents
• Communicate edits and revisions clearly to team members
• Collaborate with other writers and editors to maintain consistency and quality
Skills/background needed
• A degree or diploma in Business Writing, Journalism, Science, or a related field
• Some familiarity with technical documents is helpful but not essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and proofreading ability
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technical concepts
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, proactive approach to work
• Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or similar writing tools is a plus
