About this role
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to develop clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for medical devices. In this role, you’ll work with product specifications and input from engineers and specialists to translate complex technical information into easy-to-follow instructions with visual workflows and step-by-step guides.
This is a fully remote position. Full training and support will be provided—no prior medical device experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop and edit operator manuals and technical documentation using product specifications and input from subject matter experts
• Convert technical input into clear user instructions with text and visual guides
• Maintain documentation in standard formats following established guidelines
• Review documents for clarity, grammar, consistency, and accuracy
• Work collaboratively with team members to clarify and refine technical information
Skills/background needed:• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build consensus on content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Independent and accountable work style with high attention to quality
Preferred experience:• Prior experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
• Familiarity with technical writing tools and content management systems
• Background in science or a related technical field
