About the Role:
We are seeking a Scientific Writer to support our research and communications team. You will work on-site, collaborating with scientists and researchers to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, accessible written content for different audiences.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll develop your skills in scientific writing, editing, and communication across a variety of document types.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help frame, edit, and refine scientific manuscripts, white papers, technical briefs, and grant proposals
• Collaborate with research teams to develop clear, compelling narratives aligned with publication standards
• Translate technical research into accessible content for regulatory submissions, funding bodies, and public communication
• Review and improve structure, clarity, and scientific accuracy of documents
• Ensure consistency with journal and funding agency guidelines
• Provide editorial input on publishing, communications, and dissemination strategies
Skills/background needed:
• Background or degree in a scientific field (physical science, life science, or related discipline)
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Understanding of scientific publishing standards and technical accuracy
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate in person with interdisciplinary teams
• Experience writing for both technical and non-technical audiences is a plus
• Familiarity with grant and funding proposal writing is helpful
• Knowledge of regulatory or policy writing is a bonus
