Job Title: Technical Writer

About the role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to create clear, professional documentation and training materials for software products. You’ll produce user guides, help content, training materials, and formal documentation deliverables working within a structured sprint schedule. This is a fully remote position offering the chance to develop your technical writing skills in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials based on development team input and project requirements
- Produce documentation on regular schedules, meeting sprint cycles and delivery deadlines
- Write help text, tooltips, and interactive guidance content for software interfaces
- Develop training materials and role-based user guides for enterprise software systems
- Maintain documentation schedules and ensure timely submission of deliverables
- Support agile development processes and documentation workflows
Skills/background needed:
We welcome applications from candidates with:
- Experience producing technical documentation for software (such as release notes, user guides, or system documentation)
- Experience working within sprint-based documentation workflows and meeting tight turnaround deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and document management systems
- Experience creating training materials for enterprise software
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- A degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred experience includes work with in-app help authoring tools and familiarity with agile documentation practices.
