We’re looking for a creative, curious storyteller to join our news team. This role is perfect if you’re eager to learn multimedia journalism from the ground up. You’ll work across multiple platforms – shooting, writing, editing, and presenting content. No prior experience required; we provide full training. What You’ll Do:
Research, pitch, shoot, write, edit, and present stories for news broadcasts and digital platforms
Deliver reports with clarity and confidence
Create engaging content for your audience
Build and maintain sources within your community
Engage with viewers on social media and digital platforms
Collaborate with producers, photographers, and other journalists to develop content
Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Skills/background needed:
Strong storytelling and writing skills
Ability to work under deadline pressure
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Eagerness to learn video shooting and editing software
Familiarity with news writing style is helpful but not essential
A genuine passion for journalism and news
