We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our quality assurance team in a manufacturing environment.
The Technical Writer supports quality systems through investigation of quality events and the development, review, and maintenance of documentation in a manufacturing setting. This role ensures investigations and quality documentation are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will demonstrate strong technical writing skills, experience managing documentation processes, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
Investigate and document quality events including deviations, incidents, and customer complaints.
Perform and document root cause analyses and develop corrective and preventive actions in alignment with regulatory expectations.
Draft, revise, and maintain documentation such as standard operating procedures, batch records, technical reports, and risk assessments.
Support change control activities related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure documentation accuracy and procedural alignment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis and quality system enhancements.
Skills/background needed: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Engineering. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is valuable. You should have strong written communication, analytical, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Prior experience with technical documentation, deviation management, and regulatory compliance is helpful but full training will be provided.
