As a grant writer, you’ll work with partner organizations to identify and secure funding that supports healthcare and education initiatives. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by connecting mission-driven projects with the resources they need to succeed.
About the role:
You’ll support grant-seeking efforts by researching funding opportunities, writing compelling proposals, and managing the submission process. Your responsibilities will include:
• Research and identify public and private grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities• Gather information from subject matter experts and stakeholders to build strong grant applications• Write clear, well-researched proposals that meet funder requirements and guidelines• Prepare supporting documentation and budgets for grant submissions• Track and maintain records of pending, existing, and completed grants• Stay informed about grant requirements, eligibility criteria, timelines, and regulations• Follow up with granting organizations and manage relationships with funders• Keep stakeholders updated on application status and outcomes• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (any accredited institution)• Experience identifying, applying for, and receiving grants from public or private sources• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Research, analysis, and reporting ability• Solid computer skills and comfort with digital tools• Ability to work independently and collaboratively• Self-motivated and detail-oriented• Knowledge of higher education and/or healthcare sectors is a plus
