We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and help create clear, accurate documentation for complex systems and equipment. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone ready to grow their technical writing skills.
You’ll work with engineering and program teams to develop user guides, training materials, installation manuals, and technical illustrations. Your role will involve taking complex information and presenting it in a way that’s easy for both technical and non-technical audiences to understand.
What you’ll be doing:
• Create clear, well-organized technical documentation including user guides, training materials, and procedural manuals
• Develop technical illustrations and diagrams using industry-standard tools
• Work with engineering teams to understand complex systems and translate that knowledge into written documentation
• Review and update documentation regularly to keep information current and accurate
• Collaborate across teams to ensure documentation meets user needs and meets quality standards
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into your work
Skills/background needed:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
• Ability to learn and master complex technical concepts quickly
• Comfortable working with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or similar platforms
• Experience creating diagrams, flowcharts, or illustrations is a plus
• Ability to ask clarifying questions and verify information for accuracy
• Experience with technical writing, user manuals, or training materials is helpful but not required
Preferred experience:
• Background in developing installation, operations, or maintenance manuals
• Experience creating training materials and instructional content
• Familiarity with design or illustration software
• Experience with documentation platforms or content management systems
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent role
