We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will create clear, accurate technical documentation that helps users understand complex systems and processes. You’ll work with subject matter experts, engineering teams, and stakeholders to produce manuals, procedures, guides, and reports.
What You’ll Do:
Create technical documentation including system descriptions, procedures, training materials, operational manuals, and reports
Work with Subject Matter Experts to gather information and refine documents based on feedback
Communicate with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure documentation meets their needs
Author, edit, and release documentation using industry-standard tools
Manage multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
Train team members on documentation tools, systems, and processes
Ensure all documents follow compliance standards and are properly marked, stored, and distributed
Create user-focused documentation that is clear and easy to understand
Skills/background needed:
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
Experience with professional document creation and management tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience in aerospace, defense, or technical industries is a plus, but not required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, English, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
