This is an entry-level position in grocery retail, perfect for someone looking to start a career in inventory management and product ordering. No prior experience is required—we provide full training to get you up to speed. You’ll be responsible for ordering and restocking grocery products, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring products are properly displayed and available for customers.
Roles: You’ll complete order writer training and learn to replenish products using proper buying procedures. Your day-to-day work includes ordering perishable and non-perishable grocery items, maintaining appropriate stock levels, monitoring inventory reports, and controlling waste. You’ll also assist with organizing promotional displays, oversee customer special orders, and support the team with inventory counts. Additional responsibilities include stocking and merchandising products, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring accurate pricing and signage, and providing friendly customer service.
Skills/background needed: You’ll need basic math skills, the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong communication skills. A willingness to work as part of a team is essential. You should be organized, able to follow directions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. While no grocery experience is required, a genuine interest in natural foods and a strong work ethic will help you succeed. Training in all necessary systems and procedures will be provided.

Location: On-site retail position. Local positions available.
Physical requirements: You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly. During an 8-hour shift, you’ll spend 6–8 hours standing or walking. The role involves bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. You’ll work with hand tools including box cutters and electric pallet jacks. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperature variations (including cold environments) is part of the role. You must be flexible with your schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
