About This Role
We’re looking for a talented writer to join our team creating clear, helpful instructional documentation. You’ll research, write, and produce manuals, setup guides, and installation instructions. You’ll also create graphics, animations, and videos to make our documentation more effective and easier to understand.
What You’ll Do
• Write accurate, clear instructional documentation using text, graphics, animations, and video
• Translate customer needs into straightforward, easy-to-follow instructions
• Create graphic storyboards and line art to improve communication in our materials
• Manage multiple projects at once and meet production deadlines
• Work with subject matter experts, engineering teams, and other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Apply appropriate labeling to graphics for easy searching and reuse
• Collaborate with your team lead to prioritise projects and meet deadlines
• Perform additional duties as needed
Skills/background needed
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to understand and explain technical and mechanical concepts clearly
• Experience with or willingness to learn Adobe Illustrator or similar design software
• Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics (training provided)
• Experience with animation and video creation is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in scientific communications, technical writing, English, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience is welcome
