About the role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and create clear, accurate documentation for our products. You’ll draft and edit technical materials including product manuals, specification sheets, user guides, and service documentation. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone who loves writing with precision and attention to detail.
What you’ll do:
• Create, edit, and publish technical documentation for internal and external audiences
• Gather specifications and requirements by attending meetings and speaking with subject matter experts
• Develop diagrams, tables, and images to support product documentation
• Manage documentation edits with careful attention to accuracy and version control
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to meet project deadlines
Skills and background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years’ experience drafting and editing technical documentation
• Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail and grammar
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with design and image editing software
• Experience managing version control for documentation
Nice to have:
• Experience with design software for manipulating technical models
• Previous experience in the solar, electrical equipment, or renewable energy industries
• Experience creating documentation for new product launches
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
