Social Media Manager – Entry Level, On-Site

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to build and lead our social media presence from the ground up. This is a newly created role with genuine ownership over how we show up online, connect with customers, and grow our digital business.

The ideal candidate is comfortable developing content ideas, filming and editing, writing copy, publishing, engaging audiences, analyzing performance, and experimenting with what works. A major early focus will be on short-form video platforms and social commerce: creating content designed to drive engagement and conversion.

You will start as a hands-on individual contributor. As results grow, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a social media and content team.

One unique advantage: you will have direct access to behind-the-scenes content — manufacturing processes, quality testing, and product expertise. In a category where audiences increasingly value transparency and real expertise, this is a content advantage most competitors cannot match.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Channel Management

Develop and execute platform-specific strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels — creating native content for each platform.

Own the social content calendar, publishing schedule, community engagement, and social listening.

Stay ahead of emerging trends, formats, and algorithm changes; monitor competitors and the broader industry conversation.

Track social media performance metrics and deliver regular reporting with clear recommendations.

Content Creation

Concept, shoot, edit, and publish engaging short-form video and social-first content, owning the creative process from idea through publishing.

Write compelling hooks, scripts, captions, and headlines in a consistent brand voice.

Develop repeatable content formats and series that reliably generate engagement and growth.

Turn behind-the-scenes manufacturing and product expertise into authentic, educational content.

Coordinate with internal teams, creators, photographers, and videographers as needed.

Social Commerce

Own the day-to-day operation and growth of our social commerce presence, including product listings, promotions, and campaigns.

Identify, recruit, and manage creators and partners; track their performance and return on investment.

Develop content and promotional strategies that drive traffic and conversion, and optimize based on results.

Build a repeatable social commerce engine that scales as the business grows.

Compliance & Brand Safety

Work with regulatory and quality teams to ensure all content complies with industry regulations and brand guidelines.

Create and maintain clear workflows so compliance never becomes a bottleneck to publishing.

Equip creators and partners with clear guidelines and monitor partner content.

Stay current on platform policies for health and wellness categories.

Community & Brand

Engage daily with customers and followers, building an active online community.

Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and brand conversations; turn customer questions and feedback into content.

Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms, and help protect our reputation online.

Team Building & Leadership

Establish social media operations as a hands-on individual contributor.

As the function grows, define staffing needs and recruit, hire, onboard, and manage social and content talent.

Set clear goals, workflows, performance expectations, and creative processes.

What You’ll Bring

Experience with social media, content marketing, digital marketing, or creator partnerships, with demonstrated success growing accounts and driving engagement.

Hands-on skills in short-form video creation for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with fluency in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva.

Direct experience with social commerce, affiliate marketing, or creator partnerships (preferred, but not required).

Understanding of TikTok culture, trends, and what drives content performance.

Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, with visual and creative instincts.

Experience using analytics to make decisions and improve performance.

Experience in regulated or claims-sensitive categories such as health, wellness, beauty, or food (preferred, but not required); at minimum, the discipline to create strong content within industry guidelines.

Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable building a function from the ground up.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

How We’ll Measure Success (First 6–12 Months)

A consistent, recognizable brand presence on priority platforms, powered by a scalable content strategy and production process.

Measurable growth in reach, engagement, audience, and content output.

Social commerce launched and operating as a meaningful, growing revenue channel.

An active network of creators and partners with documented performance.

Two to three proven, repeatable content formats.

A clear social media reporting and measurement framework.

Content that performs and holds up to regulatory scrutiny.

Foundation processes, insights, and staffing plans for future team growth.
