About This Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to help build and grow our social presence across multiple platforms. You’ll work on strategy, content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking. This is a fully remote position where you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment with room to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategy & Planning
• Develop and manage content calendars across social platforms, planning content themes and scheduling posts consistently• Monitor platform trends and algorithm changes to keep content fresh and effective• Balance planned campaigns with timely, relevant posts that connect with current conversations
Creative Direction & Content
• Create and curate content ideas that align with brand voice and visual style• Develop engaging posts, stories, and reels that encourage interaction and sharing• Write compelling captions and copy that reflect the brand personality• Post, schedule, and manage community comments and messages daily• Edit and shoot simple content when needed using basic tools
Community & Brand Presence
• Engage with followers and respond to comments in a friendly, on-brand way• Monitor conversations and industry trends to find relevant topics to join• Represent the brand authentically across all social channels
Performance & Insights
• Track performance metrics and generate regular reports on engagement and growth• Analyze which content performs best and adjust strategy accordingly• Share insights with the team to improve future content
Skills/background needed: No prior professional experience required. We provide full training. You should be comfortable learning social media platforms, have strong written communication skills, basic organisational abilities, and genuine interest in social media trends and content creation. Familiarity with Canva, basic editing tools, or content creation is a plus but not essential. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively is important for this remote role.
