About this role:
We’re looking for a creative and organised Social Media Specialist to lead our digital presence and build fan engagement across all platforms. You’ll create compelling content, manage daily social media activity, and work with marketing, partnerships, and events teams to promote games, events, and brand initiatives while supporting the overall fan experience.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our venue. You’ll be the voice of our organisation on social media, capturing live moments, engaging with our community in real time, and helping drive audience growth and brand awareness.
What you’ll do:
• Manage and execute daily social media activity and coordinate content calendars across all platforms
• Create and publish engaging content, including graphics, short-form video, and live game coverage
• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase fan engagement and audience growth
• Monitor social media channels and engage with fans in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to concept and execute campaigns that support ticket sales and community initiatives
• Capture live content during games, events, and community appearances
• Ensure brand consistency across all platforms in line with organisational guidelines
• Support digital campaigns and promotions
• Stay current on social media trends and platform updates
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
• Attend all home games and team events
Skills/background needed:
• Experience managing social media accounts (2–3 years preferred, but we welcome passionate beginners with a portfolio)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement
• Experience creating and scheduling content, managing content calendars, basic graphic design, and video editing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and fan engagement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred (not required if you have demonstrated experience)
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, permanent.
