As a full-time editor in accounting and auditing, you will apply your technical skills in a professional environment. This role allows you to work from home while developing solutions for accounting professionals, working with expert teams, and continuously expanding your expertise.
About the Role
In this position you will:
Design, develop, and update accounting and auditing solutions used by professionals in firms and corporations across the country and globally.
Provide clear, step-by-step guidance and practical resources that help customers and improve their experience.
Apply your technical knowledge to identify important topics, practice problems, and practical solutions.
Oversee the work of project team members, including freelance contributors and in-house teams, to ensure deadlines are met.
Collaborate with product, technology, customer service, and sales teams to understand and support customer needs.
Communicate directly with accounting professionals to resolve questions and ensure products meet their requirements.
Contribute to strategic development projects as requested.
About You
You’re a fit for this role if you have:
Practical experience in accounting and auditing, ideally at a manager or senior manager level.
Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge with solid research skills.
Experience with nonprofit auditing, issuer audits, or single audits is a plus.
The ability to complete assignments on time, identify areas for improvement, and deliver quality work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
No prior editing or content creation experience is required. Full training will be provided.
