Role: Automotive Service Writer

About the role:
As an Automotive Service Writer, you’ll be the friendly face customers see when they bring their vehicles in for service. You’ll guide customers through the repair process, keep them informed about their vehicle status, and ensure they leave satisfied with our service. No prior experience is necessary—we provide full training.
What you’ll do:
• Greet customers with hospitality and respect as they arrive• Listen to customer concerns and present repair solutions in clear, easy-to-understand language• Manage workflow efficiently to keep operations running smoothly• Explain our services in a way that builds trust and confidence• Answer phone calls in a professional, courteous manner• Build positive, lasting relationships with customers• Assist with customer service activities and coordinate with team members• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards• Support team members and help out where needed• Perform additional duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record• Comfort using Windows-based software and automotive systems (we’ll train you)• A friendly, customer-focused attitude• Reliability and dependability• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods• Willingness to occasionally lift objects up to 50 lbs• Ability to work at a brisk pace in a busy environment• Team player mentality
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm. Weekends off to spend time with family and friends.
