About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for members, providers, and stakeholders, delivering complete and accurate support across all communication channels including chat, email, phone, and text. You’ll help people understand their healthcare eligibility, benefits, and coverage options, guiding them through their healthcare journey with patience and care.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Responding to inquiries about eligibility, benefits, claims, and authorizations across all channels. Helping members and providers navigate self-service tools and understand their coverage documents. Resolving issues efficiently on the first contact whenever possible. Documenting all interactions accurately in our systems. Ensuring member privacy and following regulatory compliance requirements. Directing complex cases to the appropriate teams for specialized support.
You may also support outreach activities and other tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Essential requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm and empathetic when handling a high volume of inquiries. Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Comfort working independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn about healthcare terminology and compliance practices. We provide full training in all these areas.
Nice to have:
Previous customer service or contact center experience. Familiarity with healthcare or managed care environments. Bilingual abilities.
