Chat Support Representative – Full Time Entry Level

Are you friendly, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping others? We’re seeking a Chat Support Representative to join our team and provide exceptional support to our members and partners through our chat and call center.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for inquiries about benefits, eligibility, claims, and account questions. You’ll handle inbound chats and calls, assist with online requests, and make a direct impact on the experience of the people you support.

What you’ll do:

• Handle inbound chats and calls from members and partners with professionalism and empathy
• Explain benefits, coverage details, eligibility, and claim status clearly and confidently
• Accurately document interactions and update records in internal systems
• Resolve concerns and escalate complex issues when needed
• Meet productivity, quality, and compliance standards
• Stay up-to-date on plans, policies, and procedures

Skills/background needed:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfort using a computer and basic software (such as Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Ability to listen actively and understand information
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to type and use standard computer equipment
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role

Prior customer service or call center experience is helpful but not required. We’ll provide all the training you need.

What to expect on the job:

This role involves working at a computer for most of your shift, typing, listening carefully to calls and chats, and communicating information clearly. You’ll be sitting most of the time and using your keyboard, mouse, and other standard computer equipment regularly.

Contract length: Full time, ongoing

Hours: 40 hours per week. Standard schedule is 10:30 am – 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to shift into earlier times as they become available. A hybrid work arrangement may be available.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
