About the Role:
As a Chat Support Representative, you’ll handle patient inquiries regarding accounts, billing, insurance information, and general concerns. You’ll work closely with your team and supervisor to resolve issues quickly and accurately. The goal is to solve problems on the first contact whenever possible.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Answering patient inquiries professionally and courteously
• Documenting all interactions clearly and accurately
• Resolving billing and insurance questions
• Routing complex issues to the appropriate team member
• Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
• Working independently and collaboratively with your team
• Meeting department standards for quality and productivity
Skills/Background Needed:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use multiple software applications and online tools
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Clear, grammatically correct writing
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable internet connection for remote work
Nice to Have:
• Experience in healthcare or medical billing
• Knowledge of insurance and billing processes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish)
