About the Role:
You’ll be the main point of contact for students, staff, and faculty, providing support through multiple channels. This frontline position is all about helping people access the services and information they need. You’ll need to be a great communicator, adaptable, creative, and genuinely committed to helping others succeed.
What You’ll Do:
- Answer questions and provide information about academic support, learning strategies, research resources, and available services
- Help users via phone, email, live chat, and in-person interactions
- Share information about support services and help connect people to what they need
- Participate in outreach activities to promote our services
- Maintain communication with colleagues across different locations and coordinate activities
- Work with library resources and help people discover and access digital tools
- Manage physical collections of learning materials
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/background needed:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus a genuine interest in supporting students and a service-oriented mindset. No prior experience is required – we provide full training to get you up to speed. We’re looking for someone who communicates well, adapts easily to new situations, and is genuinely passionate about helping others learn and grow.
Preferred (but not required):
A bachelor’s degree or prior experience working in an academic support or library setting.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Part Time
