Chat Support Specialist – Full Time (Entry Level)

About This Role:

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Chat Support Specialist to join our customer service team during our busiest season. You’ll respond to customer inquiries across multiple channels—including live chat, email, calls, social media, and text—with a genuine passion for helping people.

This is a temporary full-time position running from October 19, 2026 to March 12, 2027. You’ll be fully trained from day one and supported throughout to succeed in this fast-paced, rewarding role.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, phone, social media, and text with enthusiasm and genuine care

• Handle up to 8 hours of calls daily, plus responses across other written channels as needed

• Manage order-related tasks including placing, tracking, and modifying orders, as well as processing returns

• Provide expert product knowledge and act as a brand ambassador after completing onsite training

• Resolve customer concerns positively, staying calm when handling challenging situations and de-escalating frustration

• Track customer contact data and report recurring issues to help the company improve

• Work across multiple business systems to access customer information and solve problems efficiently

• Collaborate with teams across the company to deliver the best customer outcomes

• Identify and escalate potentially fraudulent transactions when necessary

What We’re Looking For:

• Availability to work 40 hours per week from October 19, 2026 to March 12, 2027

• Associate’s degree or 1+ years of customer service experience (contact center or specialty experience is a bonus, but not required)

• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email, and social media platforms

• Strong typing accuracy (60 wpm minimum) with excellent spelling and grammar

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills—you listen carefully and explain things clearly and concisely

• Ability to stay positive and organized in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities

• Quick to learn new systems and navigate between them confidently

• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teammates

• Empathy and genuine interest in understanding and helping customers build lasting relationships

Training:

You’ll attend virtual training during your first and second full weeks (Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm PT). Full training on products, systems, and processes is provided—no prior knowledge needed.

Schedule:

You can work any hours between 6am–5pm PT, Sunday through Friday, including some holidays. Flexibility within this window allows you to find a schedule that works for you.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Temporary full-time (October 19, 2026 – March 12, 2027).

Location: Work from home fully remote.
