Chat Support Specialist – Healthcare (Remote, Entry Level)

We are building a system centered on providing exceptional mental health care and support. Our mission is to make quality care accessible to everyone, and we’re looking for compassionate people to help us achieve that goal.

About the role

As a Chat Support Specialist, you’ll be the primary point of contact for people seeking mental health support. You’ll work from home to guide prospective clients through the enrollment process, answer their questions, and help them take the next step toward getting care. This role combines customer service with genuine care—you’ll build trust with each person you interact with and help remove barriers that might prevent them from accessing treatment.

Core Areas of Responsibility

Client Engagement & Support
Respond to inquiries from prospective clients via chat and provide clear, empathetic guidance about the enrollment process. Address concerns and questions to help clients feel confident moving forward. Educate clients on how mental health care works and what they can expect. Identify client needs and provide accessible information to help them navigate their options.

Administrative Support
Verify insurance information to ensure clients have a smooth onboarding experience. Document client interactions accurately in our system. Manage client information with care and attention to detail.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

You’ll complete full training on our care model and how clients move through the system. You’ll become confident using our client management system to track interactions and schedule appointments. You’ll help meet enrollment goals by connecting prospective clients with providers who are the right fit. You’ll understand the common reasons people hesitate to start care and develop skills to address those concerns. You’ll consistently respond to clients with clarity, warmth, and professionalism.

Skills/background needed: No prior experience necessary. We provide full training. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely interested in helping people access mental health care, communicates clearly both in writing and conversation, can manage multiple conversations at once while staying focused, is reliable and takes initiative to solve problems, works well as part of a team, and shows empathy and patience in every interaction.
