Help shape how a community connects and engages! As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you’ll develop creative outreach strategies, produce engaging social media content, and tell compelling stories through digital communications. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll manage community engagement initiatives, analyze campaign performance, and ensure communications are accessible and impactful. What You’ll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Create and manage engaging content for social media channels, planning posts in advance and ensuring consistent, quality posting• Develop copy for social media platforms and ensure regular engagement• Monitor social media analytics and implement strategies to improve reach and engagement• Support the management of community engagement platforms, including content review and quality assurance• Design and produce creative materials and publications for outreach efforts• Collaborate with team members to develop outreach materials and communications• Assist with photography, videography, and other multimedia content creation• Provide support to team members across departments with social media questions and best practices• Help maintain positive community relations through effective digital communications• Participate in ongoing training to develop skills in website management, graphic design, and multimedia production
Skills/background needed
No prior experience required. We provide full training. Ideal candidates will have:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to think creatively and develop engaging content ideas• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok• Basic design software experience or willingness to learn (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools)• Comfort working with both Mac and PC computers• Experience or interest in photography, videography, or graphic design• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines• Ability to work effectively as part of a team• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events and activities• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one
