We’re looking for a writer to help us keep our shopping content library up to date and accurate.
About the role:
You’ll revise, update, and optimize commerce content to ensure it stays timely, relevant, and accurate. This includes writing product reviews, buying guides, and deal roundups. You’ll research new products and market trends, pitch fresh content ideas, and help test new products to give readers the best recommendations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing and producing shopping content roundups and articles weekly
- Keeping our content library current with accurate pricing and product information
- Researching and writing buyer guides, product comparisons, and supplemental content
- Researching new products, trends, and competitor content to ensure recommendations are current
- Pitching new content ideas and analyzing market trends
- Price-checking articles before publication and scheduled updates
- Monitoring audience engagement and growth metrics
Skills/background needed:
- A genuine interest in shopping and product recommendations
- At least 2 years of digital content experience (journalism, content marketing, or affiliate commerce is ideal)
- Experience with content management systems, particularly WordPress
- Familiarity with SEO principles
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects
- Experience using data and analytics tools to guide content decisions
- Familiarity with generative AI tools
- Ability to write engaging headlines and compelling copy
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and a creative problem-solver
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with AP Style
- Knowledge of the digital lifestyle and shopping sectors
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
