Content Writer – Digital Marketing, Part Time, Entry Level

Overview:

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to support our marketing team with day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on role that keeps our marketing systems running smoothly, manages our audience databases, coordinates our social media presence, and helps create engaging content across multiple platforms. You’ll work under the direction of a marketing manager, executing assigned tasks and helping ensure our campaigns reach the right people. This is a great entry-level opportunity to see how marketing campaigns come together while building practical, real-world skills.

What You’ll Do:

Database & Organisation

Clean, organise, and maintain our customer database on an ongoing basis, including data entry corrections and record standardization. You’ll ensure database accuracy so our marketing campaigns target the right audience segments. You may also help build segmented audience lists, assist with importing leads from events, and run basic reports on campaign performance as needed.

Digital Advertising

Support our advertising efforts, including campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, and basic optimisations as directed by your manager.

Social Media & Content

Help manage our social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Your tasks will include drafting posts, scheduling content, engaging with community comments and messages, and helping to create basic paid social campaigns. You’ll also organise photos and videos for social posts, repurpose existing marketing materials into social content, and support copywriting for campaigns following brand guidelines.

Event & Vendor Coordination

Serve as the main point of contact for outside vendors, tracking marketing materials and ensuring deliverables stay on schedule. You’ll maintain an event calendar, coordinate event logistics, and handle shipping of materials to event venues as needed.

Reporting & General Support

Track and report on basic campaign metrics (open rates, engagement) to support decision-making. You’ll also assist with administrative and logistical tasks related to marketing projects and events as assigned.

Skills & Background Needed:

No prior marketing experience required. We’re looking for someone who is:

• Detail-oriented and comfortable working with data and spreadsheets

• Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) – personal experience or coursework counts

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Able to write clearly and follow brand guidelines when creating social media copy

• Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Eager to learn, coachable, and willing to ask questions in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable sitting at a desk for extended periods

Experience with Canva or similar design tools, Adobe Creative Suite, or CRM systems is a plus but not required – we’ll train you on the tools you need.

Contract Length: Ongoing

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Location: Open to applicants worldwide.

What We Offer:

Full training provided. You’ll join a supportive team that values open communication and collaboration. This role offers the opportunity to build valuable marketing skills, work with real campaigns, and grow into more responsibility over time. We support your learning and encourage you to ask questions as you develop in this role.
