About the Role
We’re looking for a writer to develop clear, creative communications that solve business and brand challenges. You’ll work on diverse projects, thinking both visually and verbally to support strategy, design, and brand expression. This is a great entry point into professional writing if you’re eager to learn, grow, and collaborate with a creative team.
What You’ll Do
• Develop original concepts and content that address client needs and business objectives
• Think visually as well as verbally, contributing to the overall structure and feel of projects
• Work with designers and creative directors to create and refine content
• Brainstorm, develop placeholder copy, and write across multiple styles and formats
• Help establish and interpret brand voice, tone, and positioning
• Use strategic thinking and business knowledge to structure content effectively
• Gather information from stakeholders and subject-matter experts
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Contribute to client presentations
• Work independently and collaboratively as needed
Skills/background needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid grasp of English grammar, style, and usage
• Ability to write in multiple styles and handle complex assignments
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a team environment
• Comfort with user-focused thinking and strategic reasoning
• An undergraduate degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or a related field is preferred
• 0-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, advertising, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent)
• Experience in an agency or client-services environment is a plus, but not required
