About This Job
We’re looking for a talented content writer to create clear, engaging, and authoritative financial commentary and thought leadership pieces. You’ll work closely with investment professionals and leadership to produce compelling content that explains complex financial concepts to high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
This is a fully remote role where you’ll be responsible for developing, writing, and editing investment content across multiple formats—including written commentaries, reports, newsletters, website articles, social media posts, and multimedia pieces. You’ll manage your own projects from research through final delivery, collaborate with subject matter experts, and ensure all content maintains high editorial standards and brand consistency.
What You’ll Do
• Develop, write, and edit investment management content that is accurate, engaging, and professionally authoritative
• Work with investment managers, analysts, and portfolio managers to understand complex topics and translate them into clear, compelling narratives
• Own the content calendar, attend planning meetings, and recommend content ideas aligned with current market perspectives
• Research, interview subject matter experts, and extract key insights for thought leadership pieces
• Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and formats—from technical reports to accessible social media posts
• Manage the full editorial process from conception through final delivery, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners
• Guide content through review processes and address feedback professionally
• Stay informed about trends in financial content and bring fresh ideas to your work
Skills & Background Needed
• Strong knowledge of investment management and financial markets
• 6+ years of professional writing experience, preferably in investment or financial content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, engaging language
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and respond well to feedback
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
