We’re looking for a Content Writer to join our healthcare communications team. This is a full-time role perfect for someone passionate about creating clear, engaging written content for diverse audiences – from industry leaders and policymakers to clinicians and the general public.
You’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, impact, and timeliness. You’ll manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work collaboratively with the team. This role offers flexibility – you can work from home most of the time, with in-person team meetings scheduled quarterly.
What you’ll do:
• Create written content across multiple formats: press releases, speeches, opinion articles, thought leadership pieces, web copy, social media posts, and in-depth reports• Maintain high standards of accuracy and take pride in the quality of your work• Research and stay curious about our clients and the healthcare industry• Build realistic project timelines and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines• Use approved content management and scheduling tools to publish and track content performance• Review your own work critically and welcome feedback as part of the learning process
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or equivalent professional writing experience• 3–5 years of professional writing experience• Experience in communications operations or related field• Excellent written and spoken communication skills• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy• Ability to solve problems and go beyond the basic requirements• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines• Willingness to work collaboratively with senior team members• Experience in healthcare communications, marketing, or policy is a plus but not required – we’ll provide training
Contract length: Permanent, full-time
