About the role:
This is an entry-level position focused on content creation, coordination, and digital marketing support. You’ll build foundational skills in professional marketing across multiple channels while working with a collaborative team. No prior experience is required—full training will be provided. You’ll help keep websites, content libraries, and marketing materials accurate and up to date, assist with routine content and design requests, and support project management needs. This role offers the chance to develop real-world skills in a structured, supportive environment.
What you’ll do:
• Write, update, edit and publish professional bios and other content on company websites and internal platforms
• Track the status of content assignments, identify missing or incomplete materials, and follow up with team members to obtain drafts
• Coordinate and help execute regular social media content efforts
• Maintain marketing asset libraries, including stock imagery, design templates, style guides, and training materials
• Create basic graphics using design tools to support content and social media
• Draft and maintain process documentation to help keep workflows organized
• Gather web and social engagement metrics for reporting purposes
• Copyedit and quality-check assigned content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand guidelines
• Track deadlines, manage content calendars, and maintain organized project documentation
Skills/background needed:
• A degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Zero to two years of professional or internship experience in marketing, communications, or a similar environment (or willingness to learn on the job)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to grammar and style
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Canva or willingness to learn design basics
• Ability to occasionally retrieve and distribute materials weighing up to 20 pounds
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with WordPress or other content management systems
• Familiarity with social media publishing tools
• Basic knowledge of web and social analytics
• Exposure to video editing or multimedia content creation
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
Work arrangement:
Fully remote with flexibility to work from home on a regular basis. This is an entry-level position with full training provided.
