We’re looking for an entry-level Content Writer to join our team. You’ll create clear, compelling product descriptions and content for our online platform. No prior experience required—we provide full training and support to help you succeed in this role.
What You’ll Do
Create accurate and compelling product descriptions that highlight features and benefits to help customers make purchase decisions. Research and write new product copy that matches our brand voice and guidelines. Proofread and quality-check product descriptions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and excellent grammar. Optimize copy for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords and metadata. Work with team members across different departments to ensure product information is accurate and published on time. Enhance existing product copy based on customer feedback and performance data. Manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality. Take on other copy-related projects and content audits as needed.
Skills/background needed
Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging copy. Excellent proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Creative thinking and the ability to generate new ideas that align with brand goals. Ability to adapt your writing style based on audience and product type. Willingness to take initiative and solve problems with logical thinking. Comfort learning and using standard business tools, content management systems, and digital platforms. A passion for learning and growing in a writing role.
Bonus Points
A college degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Advertising, Communications, Fashion, or a related field. Experience in retail or e-commerce. Basic knowledge of search engine optimization principles and digital content best practices.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role with flexible work arrangements. You’ll work on-site part of the week and have the option to work from home on other days.
