Content Writer – Remote

About the role:

We’re looking for a Content Writer to create clear, engaging, and audience-focused written content for internal and external audiences. You’ll help communicate priorities, support organizational initiatives, strengthen team engagement, and build brand reputation through thoughtful storytelling.

This is a fully remote position where you’ll develop content across multiple channels, including team communications, leadership messaging, website copy, marketing materials, campaign messaging, thought leadership pieces, and customer-facing communications. You’ll work with writers and storytellers who can quickly understand complex topics, adapt messaging for different audiences, and produce high-quality content that is clear, accurate, and compelling.

What you’ll do:

• Write, edit, and proofread content for internal and external audiences

• Develop team communications, website content, newsletters, leadership messages, FAQs, talking points, and announcements

• Create marketing materials, campaign messaging, blog posts, social media copy, and thought leadership content

• Translate complex business, operational, and technical information into clear, audience-focused content

• Adapt tone, style, and messaging based on audience, channel, and communication objectives

• Identify and develop stories that highlight team members, business initiatives, customer impact, and company culture

• Interview leaders, employees, and subject matter experts to gather information and develop accurate, engaging content

• Support communication efforts that help teams understand business initiatives and organizational changes

• Manage content plans and editorial calendars to support marketing and communications priorities

• Identify opportunities to repurpose content and stories across internal and external channels

• Draft executive communications, leadership messages, presentation content, and talking points

• Ensure content is accurate, polished, and aligned with messaging and brand standards

• Review and strengthen content developed by others and manage multiple assignments and deadlines

Skills/background needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field

• Minimum of three years of professional writing experience in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, content development, or a related field

• Experience creating content for multiple audiences, channels, and communication objectives

• Strong portfolio demonstrating writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities

• Experience interviewing subject matter experts and translating complex information into audience-focused content

• Experience supporting organizational change, business transformation, executive communications, or culture initiatives (preferred)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams

• Ability to use emerging content development tools to improve efficiency and content quality

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
