Position Summary
We’re looking for an entry-level Content Writer to join our marketing and communications team. You’ll help create and manage website content, email campaigns, and blog posts that engage audiences and drive conversions. This role offers excellent training in digital marketing, search engine optimization, and professional copywriting—perfect for someone starting their career in marketing communications.
Full training will be provided. No prior marketing experience is necessary, though enthusiasm for writing and learning digital marketing tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Write and publish web copy optimized for search engines, following content strategy guidance
• Research and write blog posts aligned with marketing strategy
• Review, edit, and help manage blog content for accuracy and style consistency
• Write strategic marketing emails using standard marketing platforms, ensuring mobile-friendly formatting
• Proofread and edit website and marketing content for grammar, spelling, and brand consistency
• Support marketing team projects including website updates, copy writing, media communications, and promotional materials
• Manage multiple projects and meet production deadlines
Skills/Background Needed
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) fundamentals or willingness to learn
• Ability to write for digital platforms and follow style guides
• Experience with content management systems or email marketing platforms (or enthusiasm to learn)
• Organised approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Verbal, written, and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
