We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our Creative Services team. In this role, you’ll write compelling marketing and fundraising materials across digital and print channels, including email, web, ads, and direct mail. You’ll be a key part of shaping how audiences perceive our mission through clear, engaging written content.
What You’ll Do
• Write action-oriented marketing and fundraising materials for digital and print channels
• Develop emails, web content, ads, and direct mail that motivate readers to engage
• Write in a conversational, clear, and personally engaging style that explains why readers should care
• Review and refine content including emails, reports, resources, and other materials
• Stay current with trends in fundraising and marketing communications
• Work collaboratively with the broader team to meet communication objectives
Skills/background needed: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in internet marketing and/or copywriting for web. Strong persuasive and creative writing skills. Ability to take complex information and simplify it into engaging content. Understanding of writing principles for fundraising and marketing (headlines, calls to action, digital best practices, and search engine optimization). Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects under pressure.
Nice to Have: Experience with search engine optimization strategy, website content management systems, and basic HTML. Advanced experience in fundraising copywriting, including email campaigns, digital content, direct mail, or foundation proposals.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent position
