We’re looking for a customer-focused support specialist to join a growing team dedicated to helping businesses succeed. This is a fully remote role where you’ll provide technical support and training to customers using our cloud-based software platform. No prior experience required — we provide full training on everything you need to know.
This role splits your time between two key areas: providing direct customer support (approximately 75% of your time) and helping new customers get up and running with onboarding and training (25% of your time). You’ll be the main point of contact for customers who need help, whether they’re troubleshooting issues or learning how to use the platform effectively.
What You’ll Do — Customer Support (75%):
You’ll handle customer inquiries through chat, email, and phone. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting software and account issues, explaining features to customers with different levels of technical knowledge, and helping customers with hardware setup and third-party integrations. You’ll take ownership of each customer issue from start to finish, gathering information, troubleshooting systematically, and either resolving it or escalating it to the right team while keeping the customer informed. You’ll also document all interactions accurately, handle customer concerns professionally, work with internal teams to solve problems, and share feedback about common issues with the appropriate departments.
What You’ll Do — Onboarding & Training (25%):
You’ll help new customers implement and start using the platform by guiding them through system setup and initial training. This includes conducting training sessions tailored to each customer’s business model and technical level, educating them on core features and best practices, and identifying when additional support is needed. You’ll also help resolve setup issues during implementation, document onboarding activities, communicate customer needs to internal teams, and help improve training materials and processes.
Skills & Experience Needed:
You should be customer-focused, positive, and collaborative. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication. You’ll explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers and have the ability to adjust your communication style based on their needs. We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to remain professional in challenging situations. You should be comfortable working independently while contributing effectively to a small team, and you should have a willingness to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
Experience with team communication tools and business software is helpful but not required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
What We’re Looking For:
Ideally, you’ll have some background in customer support, technical support, or a customer-facing technology role. Experience troubleshooting software or working in a support or helpdesk environment is a bonus. However, we welcome entry-level candidates with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to learn.
Schedule:
This is a full-time remote position. You’ll be expected to work a rotating Saturday schedule as part of the team and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location: Fully remote — work from anywhere.
Contract length: Full-time, ongoing.
We’re committed to building an inclusive workplace where all candidates receive fair consideration for employment.
