About this role
This position is responsible for accurate and timely preparation of customs documentation to support the movement of imported goods through regulatory channels. You’ll act as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and regulatory authorities, working to ensure all documentation is complete, compliant, and submitted on time.
What you’ll do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Prepare and maintain customer quotations, rate sheets, and pricing proposals to support business development activities
• Manage customer accounts by maintaining accurate records, contractual information, and documentation
• Respond to customer inquiries by collaborating with internal teams to provide timely, accurate information
• Monitor sales opportunities and follow up on customer requests
• Collect, organize, and maintain customer, vendor, and pricing information in company systems
• Support the preparation and submission of pricing and proposal responses by gathering required information
• Coordinate rate collection activities with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before customer submission
• Generate and distribute sales reports, pricing analyses, and activity summaries
• Maintain organized records related to sales activities and customer accounts
• Work with sales, operations, and other teams to align customer requirements with service offerings
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with meeting coordination and presentation preparation
• Provide backup support for other administrative functions during busy periods
Skills/background needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–1 year of experience in customs, freight forwarding, administrative, or customer service roles (or no experience – we provide full training)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with computers and basic experience with Microsoft Excel
• Problem-solving and critical thinking ability
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus
• A bachelor’s degree or 2–5 years of related experience is preferred but not required
Physical requirements
• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
• Repetitive use of hands for typing and writing
• Ability to stand and walk as needed
• Ability to carry or lift up to 20 pounds

Work environment
This is an on-site role based in a typical office environment with low-level noise exposure.
