About the Role: We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, execute, and optimize digital marketing strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and business growth. You’ll oversee digital channels including email, social media, website content, search engine optimization, paid advertising, and analytics. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver data-driven campaigns. You’ll work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to support campaigns, events, and time-sensitive marketing initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
Email Marketing
Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional, retention, and loyalty communications. Segment email lists, manage automation workflows, and personalize content for targeted campaigns. Monitor email performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum engagement.
Content Marketing
Plan, write, and manage blog posts, web content, and digital storytelling initiatives aligned with brand guidelines. Collaborate with design and creative teams to produce multimedia content for web and social channels. Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, on-brand, and tailored for target audiences.
Search & Website Management
Develop and execute search engine optimization strategies to improve organic visibility and website traffic. Manage paid search campaigns and optimize for return on investment and performance goals. Monitor and report on website performance using analytics tools and make recommendations for improvements.
Display & Paid Advertising
Plan, launch, and optimize display and programmatic ad campaigns across relevant networks and platforms. Collaborate with agencies and vendors to ensure campaign targeting, creative elements, and budget alignment. Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, optimizing for engagement, leads, and conversions.
Social Media & Online Engagement
Develop and manage content calendars across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. Monitor and respond to online engagement in a timely and professional manner. Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to increase audience reach and engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on all digital marketing campaigns and website performance using analytics tools and reporting platforms. Develop actionable insights to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and support business growth. Present performance reports and recommendations to leadership.
Team & Vendor Collaboration
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and contractors for campaign execution and support. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and strategy. Provide guidance and training on digital best practices to staff as needed.
General Responsibilities
Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices. Ensure all campaigns adhere to brand standards and relevant regulations. Participate in team meetings and strategic planning sessions. Attend on-property events during various hours to capture photos, video, and social content. Support real-time social media coverage during events and promotions.
Skills/background needed: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing is required. Proven experience managing email campaigns, content marketing, search engine optimization, paid search, social media, display advertising, and analytics is required. Experience with marketing automation platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools is required. Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices and platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, social media management tools, and digital advertising platforms. Must be able to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and tact.
Working Environment: This is an on-site position. Core responsibilities require regular, in-person collaboration with marketing and operational teams, as well as on-site support for events and campaigns. Work may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours based on operational needs. The working environment may involve varied settings, including exposure to natural elements and loud noise. You must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 20 pounds. You may be exposed to situations where guest or visitor behavior may create undesirable conditions.
