About the Role
We’re looking for an entry-level writer to join our logistics and trade documentation team. You’ll support the preparation and coordination of shipping documentation, compliance filings, and customer communications for international cargo movement. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn the fundamentals of import logistics, regulatory compliance, and real-time shipping coordination while working with a supportive, detail-focused team.
What You’ll Do
• Prepare and format import documentation, classifications, and compliance submissions
• Track incoming shipments, monitor status updates, and coordinate with carriers and government agencies
• Assist with regulatory filings and help confirm shipment release status
• Support tariff classification research for imported goods
• Keep customers informed with clear, proactive communication via email, phone, and written updates
• Coordinate cargo releases and transfers while maintaining accurate records
• Support the team on other documentation and administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and work collaboratively
• Customer-service mindset and willingness to learn
• No prior logistics or customs experience required – we provide full training
