We are looking for a beginner-friendly Grant Writer Assistant to support our fundraising writing. No prior experience is needed, and full training is provided. This is a fully remote role you can do from home.
You will help write and prepare letters of inquiry, concept notes, and proposals for foundations, companies, and public funders. You will help keep proposal timelines on track, gather input from teammates, translate program information into clear language, and help draft grant reports that share outcomes and impact stories.
You will also help build grant budgets with finance and program staff, frame program goals and results, and keep records updated in a CRM system. Basic use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is helpful, and we can walk you through the rest.
Skills/background needed: A willingness to learn, clear writing, good time management, and comfort working with a team. A degree in writing, English, nonprofit management, or a similar field is helpful but not required. Training is provided for beginners.
Work from anywhere with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.
