Roles: We are looking for beginner-friendly writers to create thoughtful content on a range of public policy topics for our website. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided, so no prior professional experience is necessary.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, with the option to extend based on performance.
Skills/background needed: Strong English writing skills and a genuine interest in current affairs and public policy. An interest in at least one area such as governance, economics, infrastructure, healthcare, justice, social issues, or science and technology is helpful. You should be a reliable communicator who can meet deadlines while working from home. Experience with Google Docs and Google Sheets is a plus but not required.
What you will do: Write clear articles and opinion pieces on policy topics. Take part in respectful discussions with writers of different viewpoints. Join occasional online meetings, podcasts, and events. Collaborate with a supportive team over video calls and a team chat app.
