A growing vehicle maintenance and repair operation is looking for a friendly, organised Entry Level Service Writer to join its fully remote team. In this work-from-home role, you will be the main link between customers and the repair team, making sure every service need is recorded, scheduled, and clearly communicated.
Roles: Greet customers and note their vehicle concerns and service needs. Create, update, and track work orders in a scheduling system. Prepare estimates and get customer approval for work. Share repair timelines and updates with customers. Help coordinate job scheduling and review completed work orders for accuracy before invoicing. Recommend routine maintenance and keep records of customer interactions.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, ongoing.
Skills/background needed: No prior experience required, full training is provided. Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn are important, along with good communication and organisation. Ability to explain technical details in plain language is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent helpful.
