Role: Technical Writer
Location: Local on-site position available.

About the role
We’re looking for someone to help create and maintain clear, accessible written content. You’ll work on a range of writing projects including website content, announcements, guidance documents, and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, edit, and update website content to ensure accuracy and consistency.• Draft, revise, and maintain website text, announcements, newsletters, and guidance documents.• Edit and proofread written materials for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and formatting.• Review, update, and standardize operational documentation and procedures.• Format documents, reports, manuals, and presentations for distribution.• Collaborate with team members to gather information and translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate content.• Ensure all documents comply with style guides and organizational policies.• Maintain document organization and version control.• Suggest improvements to documentation processes and writing standards.• Perform other related tasks as needed.
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or relevant professional experience).• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent attention to detail with editing and proofreading abilities.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.• Experience with website content management systems is helpful.• Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and with a team.• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
