Comfort with interviews is helpful, and an interest in search engine optimization is a plus. You should meet deadlines, ask clarifying questions when needed, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. A desire to learn and a creative outlook matter more than a long resume.
Responsibilities include compiling and writing articles, researching story leads, fact-checking, copy editing, and reviewing editorial submissions.
